Explicit Meaning
Spell out exactly what a sentence commits to — or say where it is ambiguous.
Send prose, a policy or an agent’s proposed action. Get back explicit statements — who does what, to what, under which conditions, with scope, negation, time and exceptions spelled out — or the readings it could not choose between.
You send
- — Prose, a policy, or a proposed action or tool call.
- — Optional context: the definitions and facts the text relies on.
- — Your answers to any clarification question.
You get
- — A short sequence of explicit statements: actor, action, object, conditions, scope, negation, time, exceptions.
- — Where readings differ in a way that matters, the readings side by side — or one clarifying question.
- — A status: explicit, ambiguous or unresolved. A restatement is for review; it never authorizes anything.
Illustrative example
Written by hand to show the shape of a result. Not a live or measured output.

- Clarify
- For an enterprise account, may a manager approve a refund over $500 without a second review — or is that refund outside this rule entirely?

You get

What it will not do
- — Manufacture precision: if the text supports more than one material reading, you see both.
- — Answer its own clarification question for you.
- — Approve or authorize an action. Pair it with Action Gate for that.
How you will connect
- HTTPS API.
